As an individual who is passionate about the world and how best we can serve our communities in improving and advancing them the Human Rights and Social Justice master’s program at Thompson Rivers University has been a good advancement in my knowledge and even perception of the world. My passion has been community engagement, improvement and development. High school is where it all started when I got to be a chance to represent my school as a junior councilor, a role in which I was an advocate for child rights.

With a diverse academic background that includes a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the London Business and Computing institute (LBCI), BSc Psychology from the Womens University in Africa (WUA), Zimbabwe, Master’s in governance and Regional Integration from the Pan African University (PAU), Cameroon and a certificate in Civic Leadership from Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).

My journey in education has been one driven by an interest in understanding human potential and how it can be utilized in a way that benefits society. Studying Human Resources Management gave me a practical set of skills in managing people. The foundation knowledge has helped me see the importance of creating supportive environments that uplift individuals and teams in reaching their goals.

We don’t need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: We have the power to imagine better
